popular as early as the Tang Dynasty in the seventh century.
The scents were used to cleanse chambers and promote positive energy, encouraging
relaxation and a sense of well-being. This ritual has since spread all over the world,
with the belief that scents have a positive effect on mood and are able to calm the
mind amidst everyday commotion.
To help you create a welcoming atmosphere of positive energy, Rituals introduces
a more modern approach: the Wireless Perfume Diffuser. This innovative device
helps you scent your environment with luxurious perfume remotely and with ease
by using your smartphone.

“Perfume On/Off” button
LED Light Explanation:
White indicates that the device is active, due to the settings being entered
into the app or by pressing the ‘perfume on/ off’ button in the back.
Blinking orange indicates that the device is busy processing the wifi
info in order to connect to the wi-fi network.
Light blue indicates that the device is online and in standby mode.
It’s waiting for your instructions or the schedule’s instructions.
Orange indicates that the device is offline.
Connect your device to your home network.
Green confirms that a message has been received from the app or the
‘perfume on/ off’ button.
Blue indicates that device is ready for the smartphone to connect it
to wifi.
Purple indicates that the device is updating its software from the
internet portal.
Red indicates that the battery is almost empty. Connect the USB
cable to the machine to charge the battery.
Blinking red indicates that an error has occurred.

No LED light indicates that the battery is completely empty. Connect
the USB cable to the machine to charge the battery.
Uitleg van het LED Lampje:
Wit geeft aan dat het device ‘actief’ is, dit kan zijn door settings die
gegeven zijn in de app of door de ‘perfume on / off’ knop achterop.
Oranje knipperen geeft aan dat het device bezig is met het verwerken
van de wifi info om zo op het wifi netwerk te komen.
Zacht blauw geeft aan dat het device online is en in standby mode.
Het wacht op uw instructie of die van het schema (schedule).
Oranje geeft aan dat het device offline is.
Verbind uw device met uw thuisnetwerk.
Groen bevestigt het ontvangen van een bericht vanuit de app of de
‘perfume on / off’ knop.
Blauw geeft aan dat het device bereikbaar is voor de telefoon om hem
op Wifi te zetten.
Paars geeft aan dat het device een update uitvoert van z’n software
vanuit de portal op het internet.
Rood geeft aan dat de batterij bijna op is. Verbind de usb stekker met
het apparaat om de batterij op te laden.
Rood knipperen geeft aan dat er een probleem is opgetreden.

Geen led geeft aan dat de batterij helemaal leeg is.
Verbind de usb stekker om de batterij op te laden.
Quick start guide:
Internet: How do I connect my device to the internet?
1. Plug your machine into a power outlet.
2. Download the Rituals Diffuser App in the Play Store for Android, or de
App Store for iOS.
3. Make an account in the app
4. Follow the “Add Device” instructions in de app.
No internet?
You can still turn on the device by using the “perfume on/off” button
at the back of the device. It will shut off automatically after 1 hour.
Then you’ll be able to enjoy a wonderful fragrance experience without
forgetting to turn it off.
How do I install the cartridge?
1. Open the device
2. Remove seal from cartridge
3. Place cartridge
4. Close the device.

Direct van start:
Internet: Hoe meld ik mijn device aan op het internet?
1. Plug de stekker van uw apparaat in het stop contact.
2. Download de Rituals Diffuser App in de Play Store voor Android of de
App Store voor iOS.
3. Maak in de app een account aan.
4. Volg de instructies in de app onder “Add Device”
Heeft u geen internet?
U kunt het device toch gebruiken door de ‘perfume on - off’ knop achterop
het device in te drukken. Deze gaat vanzelf na een uur uit. Zo heeft u een
goede geur beleving in uw huis en kunt u hem niet vergeten weer uit te
zetten.
Hoe plaats ik een cartridge?
1. Open het device
2. Verwijder seal van cartridge
3. Plaats de cartridge
4. Sluit het device.

This manual contains important information for the good and safe use of your
purchased Rituals Wireless Perfume Diffuser. Read this manual thoroughly
before you use the product, otherwise you may cause danger to yourself and
others or damage (to the product). Keep this warranty, the sales receipt and the
manual in a safe place. If you give the product to somebody else, be sure that
you also give them the warranty and manual.
Please note! The product must be properly connected and used. Improper use
can lead to damage or injury.
Advice for use:
The product you purchased is intended only for the fragrancing of the air
inside the house. Incorrect usage can lead to dangerous situations:
• When the product is in use, keep the lid closed.
• Only fill the product with original Rituals cartridges;
• Only use the product indoors and never in damp areas like pools and saunas;
• Do not use the product in spaces with an open flame, such as a fireplace, a
gas stove and next to candles;
• Place the product on a level surface;
• Do not cover the product and make sure that the openings are kept free at all
times;
• Do not insert any objects into the openings in the product;
• Do not adapt, adjust or change the product in any way;
• Do not set the product in the direct environment of other electronic devices,
such as an air conditioner;
• Only use the product with the supplied Rituals Perfume Adapter;
• If the adapter’s case is broken or damaged, replace it with an original Rituals
Perfume Adapter;
• Keep the product away from children and don’t let them play with it.
• Try to limit the movement of a cartridge that is in use.
• Only use the product indoors and at normal temperatures.
• Do not travel with a cartridge that is in use.
Cleaning and maintenance:
Do not clean the product when it is on or connected to a power source. To
prevent scratches, use a soft, dry cloth to clean the product. Do not use
cleaning products and do not submerge the product in liquids.
Warranty:
You have purchased a Wireless Perfume Diffuser from Rituals. The purchased
product is exclusively for the fragrancing of enclosed areas in your house. It is
not intended, nor is it appropriate for other use, such as industrial use. When
using it, you are required to follow the information in the manual. Incorrect
use can cause damage, and Rituals is in no way responsible in the case of
incorrect use, nor is the warranty valid in the case of incorrect use.
This product has a warranty period of 1 year. Any complaints that are a result
of materials and or factory error will be handled within the warranty period
free of charge.
Rituals gives this warranty and is located at Keizersgracht 683, 1017DW,
Amsterdam in The Netherlands.
The issued warranty is not valid:
• When you have not operated the product according to the manual, and/or
have used it improperly;
• If the product is altered, modified or changed in any way;
• In the event that you did not use the original components and/or if you used
an incorrect refill;
• For damages that occur during transport;
• For normal wear and tear of product;
• When the product has been opened and/or the cover sticker is damaged
This warranty is in addition to the rights afforded to you by Dutch law and
shall not affect these rights.
Based on section 7:17 of the Netherlands Civil Code, a product must be
delivered that complies with the agreement.. This means that the product
must have qualities that you can reasonably expect.
Disposal:
Your product is manufactured from high-quality materials and parts that can
be recycled and reused. The product falls under the EU guideline 2002/69/EG.
Electronic parts are not allowed to be disposed of with the household garbage,
but should be separated and discarded of in a matter dictated by local
regulations
The cartridges can be disposed of by throwing it into the glass container.
Always abide by the local laws when it comes to the disposal of old products
and don’t put them in the normal household trash. If you dispose of the old
products correctly, you prevent negative effects on the environment and public
health.

Voor uw veiligheid:
Deze handleiding bevat belangrijke informatie voor een goed en veilig
gebruik van de door u gekochte Rituals Wireless Perfume Diffuser. Lees deze
handleiding daarom helemaal door voordat u het product gaat gebruiken
anders kan gevaar voor u en anderen en schade (aan het product) ontstaan.
Bewaart u deze garantie, de aankoopbon en de handleiding goed. Als u het
product aan anderen geeft, zorgt u er dan ook voor dat de garantie en de
handleiding worden meegegeven.
Let erop! Dat het product deskundig wordt aangesloten en gebruikt. Ondeskundig
gebruik kan tot schade en/of letsel leiden.
Advies gebruik:
Het door u gekochte product is enkel bedoeld voor het aromatiseren van lucht
binnenshuis. Verkeerd gebruik kan tot gevaarlijke situaties leiden:
• Wanneer u het product in gebruik heeft houdt de deksel dan gesloten.
• Vul het product enkel met en door middel van de oorspronkelijk door Rituals
geleverde cartridges;
• Gebruik het product enkel binnenshuis en niet in vochtige ruimtes zoals
bijvoorbeeld zwembaden en sauna’s
• Gebruik het product niet in ruimtes met open vuur, zoals bijvoorbeeld een open
haard, een gasfornuis en bij kaarsen;
• Plaats het product op een vlakke ondergrond;
• Bedek het product niet en zorg ervoor dat de openingen ten alle tijde vrij gelaten
worden;
• Steek geen voorwerpen in de openingen van het product;
• Wijzig, pas niets aan en/of verander aan het product;
• Zet het product niet in de directe omgeving van elektrische apparaten, zoals
bijvoorbeeld een airconditioner;
• Gebruik het product enkel met bijgeleverde Rituals oplaadstekker;
• Indien de behuizing van de adapter kapot of beschadigd is vervang deze dan met
een originele Rituals oplaadstekker;
• Houdt het product buiten bereik van kinderen laat hen er niet mee spelen;
• Probeer verplaatsing van een in gebruik genomen cartridge te beperken.
• Gebruik het product enkel binnenshuis enkel bij normale temperaturen
• Neem geen in gebruik genomen cartridge op reis of andere locatie.
Reiniging en onderhoud;
Reinig het product niet als het is ingeschakeld en op netspanning is aangesloten.
Om krassen te voorkomen, dient u het product alleen met een zachte, droge doek
te reinigen. Gebruik geen schoonmaakmiddel en dompel het product niet onder in
vloeistoffen.
Garantie:
U heeft een Wireless Perfume Diffuser gekocht bij Rituals. Het gekochte product
is uitsluitend bedoeld voor het aromatiseren van de lucht in gesloten ruimtes
binnenshuis. Het is niet bedoeld, noch geschikt voor andere gebruik, zoals
industrieel gebruik. Bij het gebruik ervan dient u de informatie uit de handleiding
te volgen. Onjuist gebruik kan schade tot gevolg hebben en Rituals is op geen
enkele wijze verantwoordelijk bij onjuist gebruik, noch geldt in dat geval garantie
op het product.
Voor dit product geldt een garantietermijn van 1 jaar. Alle klachten, die het gevolg
zijn van materiaal- en/of fabricagefouten worden binnen de garantietermijn
kosteloos verholpen.
Rituals geeft u de garantie en zij is gevestigd te 1017DW, Amsterdam aan de
Keizersgracht 683 in Nederland.
De gegeven garantie geldt niet:
• Indien u het product niet volgens de handleiding en/of ondeskundig heeft
gebruikt;
• Als het product is gewijzigd, aangepast of anderszins is veranderd;
• Ingeval u niet de oorspronkelijke componenten (heeft) gebruikt en/of onjuiste
navulling (heeft) gebruikt;
• Voor beschadigingen die zijn ontstaan tijdens transport;
• Voor toebehoren die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn;
• Wanneer u het product heeft opengemaakt en/of de afdek sticker is beschadigd.
Deze garantie geldt naast de rechten die u heeft op grond van de Nederlandse
wetgeving en laten die rechten onverlet.
Op grond van artikel 7:17 van het Burgerlijk Wetboek moet u een product worden
geleverd dat voldoet aan de overeenkomst. Dat betekend dat het product de
eigenschappen moet hebben die u redelijkerwijs kunt verwachten.
Verwijdering:
Uw product is vervaardigd van kwalitatief hoogwaardige materialen en
onderdelen, die kunnen worden gerecycled en opnieuw gebruikt. Dit product valt
onder de EU-richtlijn 2002/69/EG.
Elektrische (onder)delen mogen niet met het huisafval worden weggegooid, maar
dienen in overeenstemming met de daarvoor ter plaatse geldende voorschriften
gescheiden te worden weggegooid.
De navulling kan in de glasbak worden gedeponeerd.
Neem bij de verwijdering van oude producten de lokale wetgeving in acht en
plaats uw producten niet bij het gewone huishoudelijk afval. Als u oude producten
correct verwijdert, voorkomt u negatieve gevolgen voor het milieu en de
volksgezondheid.

Tips and Safety Measures:
•
Do you want to scent a room but your smartphone is out of reach?
Then use the black perfume on/off button on the back side of the
Perfume Diffuser.
•
You can use the Wireless Perfume Diffuser for 21 hours before the
battery needs to recharge.
•
For an optimal experience, place the Wireless Perfume Diffuser in a
central place in the space, about 1,5 meters above the floor and not in
an air flow.
•
Do not place the Diffiuser near artwork, a bath or water.
•
Do not place the Diffuser near a heat source or flame.
•
Clean the Diffuser with a dry micro fibre cloth.
•
Remove the cartridge from the Diffiuser and make sure it is turned off
before you store it.
•
Throw the empty cartridge in the glass container for reuse.
•
Do not submerge the Wireless Perfume Diffuser or cartridge under
water.
•
Only use the supplied Rituals Perfume Power Adapter.
•
If the adapter’s casing is broken or damaged, remove this from the
power outlet and replace it with an original Rituals Perfume Power
Adapter.
•
If the Wireless Perfume Diffuser isn’t reacting, check to see if the battery
or the cartridge is full and that the wifi signal is sufficient. If this doesn’t
work, briefly press the reset button underneath the machine.
•
Avoid moving the Wireless Perfume Diffuser as much as possible when it
has a cartridge that is in use.
•

Tips en Voorzorgsmaatregelen:
•
Wil je een ruimte van geur voorzien, maar is je smartphone niet binnen
handbereik? Gebruik dan de perfume on/off knop op de achterkant van de
Perfume Diffuser.
•
Je kunt de draadloze Perfume Diffuser gedurende 21 uur gebruiken zonder
de batterij op te laden.
•
Plaats de draadloze Perfume Diffuser voor een optimale beleving op een
centrale plaats in de ruimte, ongeveer 1,5 meter boven de vloer en niet in
een luchtstroom.
•
Plaats de Diffuser niet vlak bij een kunstwerk, een bad of water.
•
Plaats de Diffuser niet vlak bij een warmtebron of een vlam.
•
Reinig je Diffuser met een droge microvezeldoek.
•
Haal de cartridge uit de Diffuser en zorg dat hij is uitgeschakeld voordat je
hem opbergt.
•
Gooi een lege cartridge in de glasbak voor hergebruik.
Dompel de daardloze Perfume Diffuser of cartridge niet onder in water.
•
Gebruik uitsluitend de bijgeleverde Rituals oplaadstekker.
•
Als de behuizing van de adapter gebroken of beschadigd is, haal deze
dan uit het stopcontact en vervang hem door een originele Rituals
oplaadstekker.
•
Indien de Perfume Diffuser niet reageert controleer of je batterij en
cartridge vol zijn en of het wifi-signaal toereikend is. Mocht dit niet werken
druk de reset knop onderop het device kortstondig in.
•
Verplaats een Perfume Diffuser zo min mogelijk met een in gebruik
genomen cartridge.
•
