Bitte lesen Sie die folgenden Anschluss- und Anwendungshinweise sorgfältig durch und befolgen Sie diese
um möglichen technischen Schäden vorzubeugen.
Sicherheitshinweise

Diese Bedienungsanleitung dient dazu, Sie mit der Funktionsweise dieses Produktes vertraut zu ma-
chen. Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung daher stets gut auf, damit Sie jederzeit darauf zugreifen können.

Sie erhalten bei Kauf dieses Produktes zwei Jahre Gewährleistung auf Defekt bei sachgemäßem
Gebrauch.

Bitte verwenden Sie das Produkt nur in seiner bestimmungsgemäßen Art und Weise. Eine ander-
weitige Verwendung führt eventuell zu Beschädigungen am Produkt oder in der Umgebung des Pro-

Kleine Objekte/Verpackungsteile (Plastikbeutel, Karton, etc.):
Bewahren Sie kleine Objekte (z.B. Schrauben und anderes Montagematerial, Speicherkarten) und Verpa-
ckungsteile außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf, damit sie nicht von diesen verschluckt werden kön-
nen. Lassen Sie kleine Kinder nicht mit Folie spielen. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
Transport des Gerätes:
Bitte bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung auf. Um ausreichenden Schutz beim Transport des Gerätes zu
erreichen, verpacken Sie das Gerät in der Originalverpackung.
Reinigung der äußeren Oberfläche:
Verwenden Sie keine flüchtigen Flüssigkeiten, wie Insektensprays. Durch zu starken Druck beim Abwischen
können die Oberflächen beschädigt werden. Gummi- oder Plastikteile sollten nicht über einen längeren
Zeitraum mit dem Gerät in Kontakt sein. Nutzen Sie ein trockenes Tuch.

Stromversorgung
Batterien:
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach an der Unterseite des Tape-Recorders. Setzen Sie vier Bat
-
terien vom Typ C ein. Beachten Sie die korrekte Polarität, wie im Batteriefach angegeben. Wenn die Batte
-
riekapazität nachlässt, merken Sie dies an langsamer werdenden Kassetten sowie an verzerrendem Klang.
Wechseln Sie dann alle vier Batterien aus:
Netzadapter:
Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit dem mitgelieferten Netzadapter mit einer Haushaltssteck-
dose (230V). Eingesetzte Batterien werden beim Anschluss des Netzgeräts automatisch vom Stromkreis
getrennt, müssen also nicht entfernt werden.
Sie können den RQ-132 auch mit einem (optional erhältlichen) KFZ-Adapter für den Zigarettenanzünder
betreiben. Auch in diesem Fall werden die Batterien automatisch abgeschaltet.
Kopfhörer-Anschluss
Schließen Sie Kopfhörer mit 3,5mm-Klinkenstecker an den Kopfhörer-Anschluss an. Der interne Lautspre-
cher wird dadurch automatisch abgeschaltet. Sie können auch während der Aufnahme per Kopfhörer den
Aufnahmeprozess überwachen.

Kassetten: Abspielen und Aufnahme
Drücken Sie STOP/EJECT, um das Kassettenfach zu öffnen und eine Kassette einzulegen bzw. herauszu
-
nehmen. Drücken Sie auf die Klappe, bis diese hör- und fühlbar einrastet, um das Kassettenfach wieder zu
schließen.
Drücken Sie FFW oder REV, um die Kassette zum gewünschten Punkt vor- oder zurück zu spulen. Drücken
Sie PLAY zum Abspielen. Stellen Sie mit dem VOLUME-Regler die Ausgabelautstärke ein. Das Abspielen
endet automatisch, wenn das Kassettenband zuende ist. Drücken Sie PAUSE, um das Abspielen zu unter-
brechen.
Aufnahme:
Setzen Sie eine Kassette ein und drücken Sie REC (die PLAY-Taste wird dadurch auch
gedrückt). Sprechen Sie in das integrierte Mikrofon („MIC“). Die Aufnahme wird am Ende des Kassetten
-
bands automatisch gestoppt. Stoppen Sie die Aufnahme sonst durch Drücken von STOP. Drücken Sie PAU-
SE, um die Aufnahme zu unterbrechen.
Bitte beachten Sie:
Kassetten können über-
spielt werden. Um eine Kassette vor dem
Überschreiben zu schützen, schieben Sie den
Pin an der zu schützenden Seite nach außen:
Andersherum sind im Handel erhältliche
Musikkassetten vor dem Schreibzugriff
geschützt. Um diesen Schreibschutz zu
umgehen, können Sie ein Stück Klebe-
band über die Öffnung kleben. Beachten
Sie, dass das Überschreiben von Kassetten
nicht rückgängig zu machen ist.

USB: Abspielen und Aufnahme (nur RQ-132USB)
Stecken Sie einen USB-Stick in den USB-Port an der Oberseite des Geräts. Wählen Sie mit dem USB/TAPE-
Schalter den USB-Modus aus.
Mikrofon-Aufnahme:
Drücken Sie PLAY/PAUSE/REC (neben dem USB-Port) zum Abspielen - halten
Sie gedrückt zum Aufnehmen auf USB. Während der Aufnahme: Kurz drücken für PAUSE. Erneut kurz drü-
cken, um mit der Aufnahme fortzufahren.
Aufnahme von Kassette:
Legen Sie eine Kassette ein und schieben Sie den TAPE/USB-Schalter auf die
Position TAPE. Spielen Sie die Kassette mit PLAY/PAUSE ab. Halten Sie den USB PLAY/PAUSE/REC Taster
gedrückt, um Audio von der Kassette auf dem USB Stick zu speichern.
Mikrofon-Anschluss
Schließen Sie externe Mikrofone am Mikrofon-Anschluss an. Das interne Mikrofon wird hierdurch de-
aktiviert.

Befi ndet sich die diese Abbildung (durchgestrichene Mülltonne auf Rädern) auf dem Pro-

Operation
Power supply
Batteries:
Open the battery compartment on the bottom and insert 4 batteries (type C), minding
the correct polarity as indicated inside the battery compartment. Decreasing battery capacity will cause
slower rotating cassette motors as well as distorted sound. Exchange the batteries in this case.
Mains adapter:
Use the supplied mains adapter to connect the device to a houshold mains socket.
Inserted batteries will automatically be disconnected and thus can be left inside.
You can also use the RQ-132 in connection with a car adapter (optional). In this case, the batteries are also
disconnected.
Headphones
Connect headphones with a 3.5mm jack to the headphones jack. The internal speaker will automatically
be disabled. You can also observe the recording process, listening via headphones (the internal speaker is
disabled when recording through the internal mic, because else, undesireable feedback qould occur).

Tape Operation
Press STOP/EJECT to open the cassette door and insert or unload a tape. Press to close the door, until it
snaps in distinguishly.
Press FFW or REV, to quickly run the cassette back or forth. Press PLAY to start playback. Use the VOLUME
knob to adjust the output volume. Playback ends automatically when the end of the tape is reached. Press
PAUSE or STOP to interrupt or stop the playback manually.
Recording:
Insert a cassette and press REC (the PLAY button will be pressed as well). Talk normally
into the BUILT-IN CONDENSER MICROPHONE. To obtain optimum recording quality, place the recorder
with the microphone freely exposed and as close as convenient to the sound source.
When your recorder is operating in PLAY or RECORD mode and the end of the tape is reached, your unit will
automatically shut itself off and return the buttons to the OFF position.
Please note:
Whenever you make a recording, any
previous recording on the tape is automatically
erased.When you have a recording you want to keep
permanently, snap out the rear left tab of the side you
want to save as shown in the illustration:
When a cassette with the tab snapped out is inserted
into the tape unit, accidental erasure is prevented by
a lever in the mechanism that keeps the RECORD but
-
ton from depressing.Cellophane tape can be place
over the original recording.Similarly, you can record
over purchased pre-recorded cassettes.
PLEASE NOTE: Your unit is equipped with a casset-
te sensing mechanism prevents the RECORD button
from being depressed when a cassette is not in the
unit.

USB Play and Recording (RQ-132USB)
Recording from MIC:
Insert the USB device to USB port on the top of unit. Set USB/TAPE switch to
USB. Press PLAY/PAUSE to playback music from USB device. Press PLAY/PAUSE button again to stop play,
at meantime the red USB indicator will blink once about a second.
Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/REC button to record from the MIC(built-in), the red REC indicator will keep
blinking rapidly. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/REC button again to stop Recording. Then press and hold the PLAY/
PAUSE/REC button once again to play music or the sound recording from USB device. Press PLAY/PAUSE
button again to stop play.
Recording from Tape to USB:
Set USB/TAPE switch to TAPE and play the tape, insert the USB device to
USB port, press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/REC button to record from the tape, the red REC indicator will
keep blinking rapidly. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/REC button again to stop Recording. Set USB/TAPE switch
USB, Press PLAY/PAUSE button to playback music from USB device. Press PLAY/PAUSE button again to stop
play,at meantime the red USB indicator will blink once about a second.
Recording With External Microphone
The record with stand-up microphone, plug the microphone into the MICROPHONE jack and follow the
built-in microphone recording instructions. When the stand-up microphone is used,the built-in microphone
is automatically disconnected.

Piles :
Ouvrez le compartiment des piles sous le magnétophone. Insérez quatre piles de type C. Respectez
la polarité indiquée dans le compartiment des piles. Lorsque la capacité de la batterie diminue, vous re-
marquerez que la lecture des cassettes est plus lente et que le son est déformé. Remplacez alors les quatre
piles :
Adaptateur secteur :
Branchez l‘appareil sur une prise domestique (230V) avec l‘adaptateur secteur fourni.
Les piles insérées sont automatiquement déconnectées du circuit lorsque vous branchez l‘adaptateur, vous
n‘avez donc pas besoin de les retirer.
Vous pouvez également utiliser le RQ-132 avec un adaptateur pour allume-cigare en option. Dans ce cas
également, les piles sont automatiquement déconnectées du circuit.
Prise casque
Branchez un casque avec une fiche jack 3,5 mm sur la prise casque. Le haut-parleur interne sera automati
-
quement désactivé. Vous pouvez également surveiller le déroulement de l‘enregistrement au casque.

Cassettes : lecture et enregistrement
Appuyez sur STOP/EJECT pour ouvrir le compartiment à cassette et insérer ou retirer une cassette. Appuyez
sur le rabat jusqu‘à ce vous puissiez sentir et entendre qu‘il s‘enclenche pour fermer le logement de la
cassette.
Appuyez sur FFW ou REV pour rembobiner ou avancer la cassette au point désiré. Appuyez sur PLAY pour
jouer. Utilisez le bouton VOLUME pour régler le volume de sortie. La lecture se termine automatiquement à
la fin de la cassette. Appuyez sur PAUSE pour mettre en pause la lecture.
Enregistrement
: Insérez une cassette et appuyez sur REC (le bouton PLAY sera également enfoncé).
Parlez dans le microphone intégré („MIC“). L‘enregistrement s‘arrête automatiquement à la fin de la cas
-
sette. Vous pouvez aussi arrêter l‘enregistrement en appuyant sur STOP. Appuyez sur PAUSE pour mettre
l‘enregistrement en pause.
Veuillez noter :
Vous pouvez copier les cas-
settes. Pour protéger une cassette contre
l‘écrasement, faites glisser la languette vers
l‘extérieur sur le côté à protéger :
Inversement, les cartouches de musique dis-
ponibles dans le commerce sont protégées
contre l‘accès en écriture. Pour contour
-
ner cette protection en écriture, vous pou-
vez coller un morceau de ruban adhésif sur
l‘ouverture. Notez que l‘écrasement des cas-
settes est irréversible.

USB : lecture et enregistrement (uniquement RQ-132USB)
Branchez une clé USB dans le port USB sur le dessus de l‘appareil. Utilisez le commutateur USB/TAPE pour
sélectionner le mode USB.
Enregistrement au micro :
Appuyez sur PLAY/PAUSE/REC (à côté du port USB) pour lire - maintenez enfon-
cé pour enregistrer sur USB. Pendant l‘enregistrement : appuyez brièvement sur PAUSE. Appuyez à nouveau
brièvement pour continuer l‘enregistrement.
Enregistrement de cassette
: Insérez une cassette et faites glisser le commutateur TAPE/USB sur la positi-
on TAPE. Jouez la cassette avec PLAY/PAUSE. Appuyez sur le bouton USB PLAY/PAUSE/REC et maintenez-le
enfoncé pour enregistrer l‘audio de la cassette sur la clé USB.
Branchement du micro
Connectez un microphone externe au port microphone. Le microphone interne est ainsi désactivé.
