Before using the barbecue, please remove all upholstery and other packaging

materials. Make sure that the GTX 1500 is firmly and securely on a straight plane.

Fix the brake (see section Operating Instructions: Actuating the brake). For the

first time, heat the grill to 200°C to completely remove any packaging residue.

The drawbar and the fireplace are included separately in the package. Take the

drawbar and put it vertically on the drawbar holder. Secure the drawbar with

the help of the socket pin. This can only be plugged in by holding down the red

button.

Push the pin through the hole provided until it stops, then release the button.

Mount the chimney using the prefabricated holes and threads.

For this you need in addition a 6er Allen key. Position the chimney with the three

holes so that they release the three recessed threads. Lightly tighten all three

screws for secure positioning, then tighten them.

COMMISSIONING

General about charcoal

Charcoal is a solid fuel.

It is produced when air-dried wood with a maximum of 18% water content is heated

to 275 ° C under exclusion of air and without oxygen supply. During this process,

the so-called pyrolysis, the temperature rises by itself to 350-400 ° C. Easily burn

volatile gases in the wood. The residue obtained is about 35% charcoal. This beats

no flames when grilling and burns at a higher temperature than wood.

OPERATION

Only follow the instructions below when the coal and grill are

completely cold!

Take the grill and put it aside. Fill the

coal tray with coal, but never more

than 1.0 kg, otherwise the grill will

get too hot.

Light the charcoal. Note the war-

nings (see section Warnings). For

an optimal heating, use our kindling

fireplace. You can get this at the

dealer of your trust or under

www.brennwagen.de.

Operation

Actuation of the brake:

If you lift the lever up and

move it to the right so that

the pin snaps into a hole in

the wheel, the brake is active.

Starting position:

The handle is located in the

guide on the left. The wheel
is not fixed.

The brake is located on the front axle on the right side. The wheel on this side is

designed on the inside with a bolt circle. Here, the wheel can be positioned via a
pin in different positions and thus braked.

Remove the fat collection bucket

Before removing the fat collection bucket, make sure that the device is comple-

tely cooled down. Make sure that the fat collection bucket is emptied regularly to

prevent it from spilling over.

Actuation of the brake

INSTRUCTIONS

Grill and smoking process

In order to achieve an optimal smoke and temperature setting for the grilling pro-

cess, both the height of the grill grate and the intensity of the air and the smoke

are adjustable. The normal grilling process takes place in the combustion chamber

directly above the coal. The grill in the combustion chamber is manually adjustable

in 3 stages.

Tip for the grilling process: Brush or spray your food always with oil, but not the

grill. It is advisable to set the coal tray rather low for large or thick pieces, whereas

for smaller and flat pieces it is better to work with higher heat.

The smoking process takes place in the cooking chamber. Use the knob (see secti-

on General: Overview) on the front of your grill to adjust the intensity of the smoke

from combustion chamber to cooking chamber. Turning clockwise increases the

intensity of the smoke, raising the temperature.

Attention! Also pay attention here, there is a risk of burns!

For a better air supply and thus a

faster burning of the coal, open the

two rotary flaps on the side of the

combustion chamber.

Attention! There is a risk of

burns here! Only operate the air

intake flap with suitable gloves!

Once the coal has completely

burned out and a white ash layer

has formed on the outside, spread

the coal with a pair of pliers and put

the grill back in place.

Attention! Also pay attention

here, there is a risk of burns!

Now you can start your barbecue

and smoking process.

on and takes place in seven steps, which run as follows:

1. Pickup

2. Transport

3. Cleaning

4. Repair

5. Storage

We pick up your Brennwagen at

home.

Your Brennwagen is brought to us by

the quickest route.

The cleaning is included in the package.

So that you can start safely again,

your Brennwagen is checked through

and - if necessary - repaired.

Until the delivery your Brennwagen is

stored with us.

PITSTOP

6. Transport

7. Delivery

Your Brennwagen is being loaded.

We bring your Brennwagen back to you.

Transport - dismantling the tires

Pull your Brennwagen comfortably from A to B.

Depending on the size of the trolley, you will need to remove the axles to be able to

transport your barbecue longer distances.

If you have a sensitive floor, we recommend that you put something under your grill

for protection.

With the help of two friends, raise the grill completely. Since the grill rests only on

the axles, you can simply pull the entire front axle down. The rear wheels must be

unscrewed. The screws - two per wheel -

are behind each wheel. Remove these and remove the tires.

Take off the cover and your Brennwagen is ready to go. You may also need to

add charcoal (see Instructions for Use: Remove coal tray).

Close the lid when the grilling process is complete. Heat the grill completely again.

As a result of the heat, all the grill remains dry on the grate and can be easily brus-

hed off later.

Stainless steel with food-friendly properties, such as the material we use, must not

be treated with any cleaner. To clean the stainless steel of your grill from dirt, use a

special stainless steel cleaner. This is also available from your grill manufacturer. We

advise against citrus-containing cleaning agents and the use of steel wool!

In order to be able to guarantee the lasting quality of your barbecue, we recom-

mend you to take care of the barbecue regularly. After cleaning your grill, use a

stainless steel care product. We recommend you the cleaner of Caramba. Do not

forget to coat the wood components with oil at least twice a year. You can get care

products from the dealer of your trust.
